Mascom live sessions are back

The spring edition of the popular Mascom live sessions will kickstart with legendary South African jazz musician Sipho Hotstix Mabuse. The event is scheduled to take place on August 25th at BotswanaCraft in Gaborone, the home of the popular live sessions.

Hotstix is a living legend who boasts close on 50 years of musical accomplishment and history behind him. He is appreciated and honoured by music lovers the world over, making a good fit for the popular Mascom live sessions. Hotstix is responsible for hit songs such as ‘Shikisa’, ‘Burn Out’ and ‘Jive Soweto’. Performing alongside Hotstix is local rapper ATI. The Khiring Khiring Khorong Khorong hitmaker is well known for his lively stage performances which always have the audience on their feet and singing along to his songs.

The Mascom Live Sessions this year has seen music greats from within Botswana and Southern Africa, among them Ringo Madlingozi and Oliver Mtukudzi.
