| GET WITH THE WAVES |
Lizzie is considering retirement and Johnny is busy enjoying his work at the cattlepost. He is getting ready to travel there. Wedu makes a living selling second hand clothes and her daughter is living with her mother-in-law, Mma Oaitse. Wedu’s 7 year old daughter, Lulu, refuses to go to school and this angers Mma Oaitse. This concerns Wedu. Shirley is concerned that her father stays out late every night while Lesang and Nchingo are concerned that though they work hard at the car wash, their boss doesn’t pay them enough money. Rraagwe Lesang is often seen at the gambling spot while Mmaagwe Lesang is also seen as an absent mother who doesn’t check on her children often.
Shirley is interested in taking up modelling and Lesang is not impressed. Lesang is also looking for scholarships as he would like to pursue his postgraduate studies. There seem to be growing financial challenges as the internet is disconnected and Rraagwe Lesang asks Lesang for money and promises to pay him back the next day. Johnny arrives safely at the cattle post and is pleased with Posta’s work. He promises that as he grows his business, Posta will be a part of the team so that he too can support his family. Lizzie is up for a promotion due to her good work while Naledi has a growing interest in network marketing schemes and is always looking for new ways to make more money. Wedu comes across a difficult customer who won’t pay for a product, while Lulu’s teacher requests that Wedu attend the Parent-Teacher consultation.
