As part of its growth strategy, the bank is looking for an experienced candidate with suitable technical competencies to take up the following opportunities:


Minimum Education or Qualifications: 

Degree in accounting or Finance, Professional accounting qualification like ACCA, CIMA, ACA. MBA or other master’s degree an added advantage. 5 years experience in a similar position or 8 years senior management experience.


Strong knowledge of financial products and banking regulations. Proficient in developing economic scenarios and collate market intelligence.

Key Skills and Experience: 

You will be responsible for driving organization performance through taking a leading role in the bank‘s strategy formulation process as well as monitoring the strategy implementation through budgeting and performance measurement, periodic forecasting and reporting.

With that you will have to ensure that the bank is adequately capitalized to support its growth initiatives as well as meeting regulatory requirements.This also includes optimizing the bank’s tax position through effective tax management and compliance with relevant tax laws. Managing the bank’s procurement process through a sound procurement governance framework including monitoring project delivery within agreed timeliness and budget.

Your main establishment will be to analyzing the bank’s value chain and identifying ways of maximizing operational efficiencies through cost containment and improved processes.
Oversee management and coordination of Financial and regulatory reporting through timely production of relevant reports.

Develop and maintain sound financial accounting systems to ensure timely financial reporting in accordance with financial reporting Standards and bank accounting policies as well safeguarding bank assets.

Manage the external audit process and ensuring audit is completed within required time frames.
Ensuring that the department is adequately staffed and proactively manage staff development and growth strategies.
In possession of Strong analytical, leadership, interpersonal and communications skills you must be able to Ensuring that the department is adequately staffed and design staff development strategies.
