ESP is a general acronym for Electronic Stability Programme which is standard in most vehicles these days. The system is called diiferenty by arious vehicle manufacturers but regardless of what it is called, the ESP program essentially reduces the potential for over- and under-correction when a driver responds to a road hazard. ESP is automatically engaged by a vehicle in slippery conditions, be it on rocky, gavel and/or wet roads to give the driver more control over the vehicle.

It provides the driver with two other active safety systems: the ABS and TCS. ABS prevents the wheels from locking during braking; These two systems combined ensure stable driving in all directions, seeing you through slippey situations back to safety.
