Beware the Confidence!

Volkswagen is a car maker of note with a footprint across the globe as well as here in Botswana. The Barloworld group, owners and operators of the Volkswagen franchise, popularly known as “VW” have had it set up in Botswana for years. The car maker of note has been rolling out new cars and models to service it’s premium customers and has not been shy of going all out for it’s customer’s satisfaction.

Polo, one it’s most popular and youthful brands had a revamped model released worldwide this year and the public invited to have a first look at what on road confidence looks like. This new Polo boasts an array of new features that had been previously reserved for it’s older siblings and even luxury sedans and SUVs. It comes in a much bigger frame than it’s predecessor, revamped front end, engine line and interior features. The new Polo will be easily mistaken by some to be a VW Golf.

The Polo comes with three models, the Trendline, Comfortline and Highline which will be followed by performance versions such as the GTI during the course of the year. The highlights of the new Polo include more efficient yet powerful engines, a new interior with various high tech and colour options, and key safety features such as blind spot assist which ensures that the drivers always knows what’s around them.
